Guitar Workshop Reviewer's Comments

Guitar Workshop comes with only approximately 20 short lessons, some of which display video performances. However, the lessons do not come with an animated fretboard or sheet music.

We found the program's Music Maker, which stores the sound files, to be difficult to use and a source of frustration. This music maker is not for the novice player, however, the advanced player may be interested in the advanced features such as the ability to compose and arrange music.

Learning to play the guitar should be an enjoyable experience in order to be effective, and we found this software to be more irritating than pleasurable.
